After weeks of intense competition, quick thinking, and an impressive display of knowledge about Jamaica’s tourism industry, history, culture, attractions, and geography, Naggo Head Primary School has emerged as the champion of the 7th Season of the Tourism Product Development Company Limited (TPDCo) Tourism Quiz Competition, defeating defending champions Creative Kids Learning Academy in a nail-biting grand finale.

Broadcast live by long-standing media partner Television Jamaica (TVJ), the highly anticipated championship match lived up to expectations, delivering what many described as a true “Battle of Quiz Supremacy.” In a contest that kept viewers, supporters, and judges on the edge of their seats, Naggo Head Primary secured victory with a final score of 37 points to 30, reclaiming a title they previously held in 2022 and 2023.

The win marks a triumphant return to the top for Naggo Head Primary, while Creative Kids Learning Academy, the 2025 champions, put on a commendable performance in their bid to retain the title.

Meanwhile, Mandeville Primary School and St. Hugh’s Preparatory secured third and fourth place respectively after a strong showing throughout the competition.

The TPDCo Tourism Quiz Competition continues to serve as an engaging educational platform that introduces primary and preparatory school students to Jamaica’s tourism industry while fostering critical thinking, teamwork, confidence, and national pride.

In congratulating the participants, Minister of Tourism, Edmund Bartlett, CD, MP, emphasised the broader value of the competition.

“As students compete, they are doing much more than answering questions. They are gaining a deeper understanding of Jamaica’s history, culture, attractions, and tourism industry, while developing the confidence to become future leaders, innovators, and ambassadors of our country.

To all participating schools, teachers, parents, and students, I commend you for being part of this remarkable journey.”

As champions, Naggo Head Primary received the coveted Tourism Quiz Trophy as well as a cash prize of $200,000, while runners-up Creative Kids Learning Academy were awarded $150,000, both sponsored by TPDCo. The awards formed part of an attractive prize package made possible through the support of a wide range of tourism stakeholders and corporate partners committed to youth development and tourism awareness.
