Protoje lands sixth Billboard Reggae Albums entry as 'Art of Acceptance' opens at No. 9

Reggae singer Protoje has notched his sixth showing on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart, with his latest project 'Art of Acceptance' arriving at the No. 9 position.

The artiste first cracked the chart in 2013 when 'The 8 Year Affair' climbed to a high of No. 5. He went on to capture the top spot in 2015 with 'Ancient Future', and repeated the feat in 2018 when 'A Matter of Time' held No. 1 for a single week.

His 2020 release 'In Search of Lost Time' reached as high as No. 6, while 2022's 'Third Time's The Charm' stopped at No. 8.

'Art of Acceptance' becomes the second album by a Jamaican act to debut on the chart this year. Alkaline's 'NPT' reached a peak of No. 9 only weeks earlier.
