St James Police Appeal for Help Naming Man Killed in Maroon Town Incident

The St James police say they need the public’s help to confirm the identity of a man who was fatally shot on March 13 during what investigators describe as an alleged confrontation with officers on Orange Road in Maroon Town, St James.
Investigators believe he may have gone by the alias ‘Simple’, but they say efforts to find relatives and verify his legal name have so far been unsuccessful.
Anyone with information that could help identify him or locate his family is being asked to contact the Montego Bay Police at 876-953-6191, call the police emergency line at 119, or report to the nearest police station.
