Fergie Dads riding momentum from 'Which Girl You Want' remix

Deejay Fergie Dads says his single Which Girl You Want (Remix) is opening doors and pushing his music career into a new gear, with strong reception from fans and sound system selectors.
"The support has been wonderful. I can't complain; just giving a lot of thanks for the outcome and to all who [are] making it happen. People who know [me] say, 'Fergie, you find it!' This is the song that's going to put me out there on top on everybody's lips, making me a household name. With this song, it's full of vibes and the lines are so catchy; it is easy to sing along to. The old and the young can relate to it. Once you hear it you are forced to dance to it," he told the Jamaica Observer.
The artiste says disc jockeys both at home and overseas have been spinning the track, while mixtape producers and selectors have folded it into their sets. He believes the freshness of the subject matter is part of the pull.
"I think why I'm getting all this attraction is because they never hear anything like this before. This is a totally different topic from the others. This is all about me being confused [and] don't know which girl to choose whether the white, the black ebony girls, browning, the Chinese, the Japanese, the Indian; the fat, the slim, the thick, the ugly, and the pretty. I love them all, while some men specialise in one of the kind," he added.
Born Ferguson, the entertainer grew up in Shooter's Hill in Bull Bay and is a past student of Kingston College. He first caught local attention in 2016 with his debut Cyah Sit Dung So, and is presently in studio sessions building new tracks and rhythms slated for release later this year.
For now, his focus stays on stretching the reach of Which Girl You Want.
"My ultimate goal for my song is [that] I want it to be the #1 song in Jamaica for 2026. Everywhere you go you hear it playing on the radios and in the dances. I want it to be all over social media, in the bars, stores, in the buses and other vehicles, and in all houses, and [to] be #1 on the charts with every single individual knowing it by heart," he said.
