Cricket is officially back on the Olympic radar for LA28, and the first four women's teams have just punched their tickets to Hollywood. Australia, England, India, and South Africa have secured their spots for the historic six-team tournament in Los Angeles, marking the sport's return to the Games for the first time in 128 years.
Because the West Indies compete as a combined Caribbean region rather than a single Olympic nation, they cannot enter as one team.
If their ranking is high enough by the end of 2026, the ICC will host a special Caribbean qualifier. The winning island nation will then advance to the 2027 Global Qualifier for a shot at the Games.
