Barita Investments Limited (“BIL”) has advised that Mr. James Godfrey, Director of Barita Investments Limited (“BIL”, “Barita” or the “Company”), did not seek re-election as a Director of the Company at BIL’s 48th Annual General Meeting, held on Thursday, July 9, 2026. Director Godfrey also resigned as a Director of BIL’s subsidiary company, Barita Unit Trusts Management Company Limited (“BUTM”), effective July 3, 2026.
Mr. Godfrey has served on the BIL Board since August 28, 2018, following Cornerstone’s acquisition of Barita. He also served on the BUTM Board from February 4, 2021.
The Board expresses its sincere appreciation to Mr. Godfrey for his dedicated service and valued contributions to both BIL and BUTM during his tenure and extends its best wishes to him in his future endeavours.
