“He is like a Tony Matterhorn, but he has his own style. I never knew he was so versatile as a selector. With his ability, he will be the next big selector coming out of Jamaica,” one supporter remarked after the event.

When the votes were counted, DJ Headache secured a convincing 3-1 victory over his opponent.
The competition began with 13 selectors battling for supremacy, making DJ Headache’s achievement even more impressive. For his victory, he received a cash prize of J$150,000 along with the coveted Wray & Nephew-sponsored championship trophy.
The event was hosted by MC Peta-Gaye King and attracted a strong turnout of supporters, who witnessed an exciting display of musical talent and selector skills.
Representing the Krazy Dawg camp, DJ Headache proudly displayed both his championship trophy and symbolic cheque following his triumph, marking what many believe could be the beginning of a promising rise within Jamaica’s sound system and entertainment industry.
