A Jamaican-born man living in the United States has been arrested following the gruesome stabbing death of his wife at an Airbnb in Hanover late Sunday night.
The deceased is a 33-year-old woman from Tampa, Florida, who had travelled to Jamaica with her husband and their two-month-old baby for vacation.
Reports reaching THE STAR are that residents became alarmed about 2 a.m. after spotting the 36-year-old husband walking along the roadway carrying the infant in his arms. Suspicious of his behaviour, they contacted the police.
Lawmen responded and later discovered the woman’s body at the Airbnb property in Esher with multiple stab wounds.
The suspect was taken into custody and remains under investigation by the Hanover police.
