PBCJ invites Labour Day 2026 project videos from communities across Jamaica
PBCJ is encouraging Jamaicans to document their Labour Day 2026 activities as the national observance takes place on Monday, May 25, with community projects expected across the island.
The call is aimed at groups carrying out practical work in their areas, whether the effort is large or small. The examples highlighted include painting a school for teachers and students, constructing something of value, planting flowers, improving public spaces and helping to safeguard what matters in local communities.
The broadcaster is asking teams to record a three-minute video while they are working on Labour Day. PBCJ says the submitted footage may be featured on television and across its social media platforms.
Videos can be sent by WhatsApp to 876-228-7225. Submissions may also be sent by email to communications at pbcjama.org, or by tagging PBCJ on social media.
The message frames this year’s observance around collective effort, with the theme statements: “Labour Day 2026. Together we build Jamaica” and “Labour Day 2026. One people, one purpose. In all things, Jamaica wins.”
