Defending champions Frazer's Whip and Arnett Gardens will enter the Jamaica Women's Premier League semi-final return legs with the edge when the matches are staged at the UWI/GFF Captain Horace Burrell Centre of Excellence.

Frazer's Whip hold the stronger position, taking a 5-0 advantage into their 3:00 p.m. meeting with first-season semi-finalists Real Mona. The title holders will again look to Christina Salmon, the competition's leading scorer, along with Shannell Spence and captain Nevaeh Gale Able. Together, that trio has produced 54 goals this season.

Real Mona face a steep assignment as they try to recover from the five-goal gap. Their comeback hopes rest mainly with Olivia Ashbourne, who has scored 12 times in the campaign, while Karisma McLean has added three goals.

The other semi-final is tighter, with Arnett Gardens one goal ahead of Los Perfectos going into the second leg. The unbeaten Junglists are expected to lean on Sherika Douglas, who has registered 18 goals this season.

The contest also features captain Tonesha Hamilton, who has six goals, with Suen Gregory and Sade Berry on three goals each, as players listed to help overturn a 2-3 first-leg deficit. Los Perfectos will depend heavily on captain Venecia Reid, their 22-goal scorer, while Tenesha Vassell, with four goals, and Trisha Casanova, with three, are also expected to contribute in the push for a final place.

The Arnett Gardens-Los Perfectos fixture is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m.
