GraceKennedy lifts first-quarter profit to $2.36 billion as revenue climbs 7.4%

GraceKennedy has turned in a stronger first quarter for 2026, with higher profit and sales across its food, banking and insurance businesses.

Group net profit stood at $2.36 billion for the three months to March 2026, a rise of $135 million over the same period last year.

Revenue for the quarter advanced 7.4 per cent to $47.48 billion.

The food arm gained from solid overseas performance, wider distribution and continued pull for the Grace brand, the company said. Results were also lifted by Dairy Industries Jamaica after GraceKennedy took full ownership of that business earlier in the year.

GraceKennedy Financial Group posted firm growth as well. First Global Bank saw loans and deposits expand, while the insurance unit delivered double-digit increases in both revenue and profit.
