Hanover Airbnb Death Under Police Probe as US Spouse Questioned

Hanover

A United States citizen has been detained by police as investigators probe the death of his wife at an Airbnb property in Hanover.

The man, his spouse, who was also from the United States, and a young baby believed to be their child were in Jamaica on vacation when the incident occurred.

Assistant Commissioner Glenford Miller, who heads the Area One police, confirmed the matter but cautioned that investigators have not yet determined who killed the woman.

According to reports, people living in the community alerted the police after becoming uneasy when they saw the man walking on the roadway with the baby before dawn. The investigation continues.
