Hanover Lawmen Circulate Sketch of Man Wanted for Lucea Gunpoint Robbery
HANOVER, Jamaica — Lawmen in Hanover have put out a composite sketch of a man they are trying to track down over a robbery and assault that took place in Lucea earlier this year.
The man is being sought on allegations of assault at common law, robbery with aggravation, and breaches of the Firearms Act, all stemming from an incident along Main Street in Lucea on Monday, May 4.
Investigators say that about 11:00 p.m. the man, along with several others, confronted a member of the public, held him at gunpoint, and took away cash and a cellular phone before the group made off from the location.
Detectives are now urging anyone with details that could help name or find the man to reach out to the Lucea Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) at 876-956-2304, Crime Stop at 311, the police emergency line 119, or any police station nearby.
Enquiries into the matter are continuing.
