2026 I Am VM Awards

Under the glow of stage lights and the sparkle of sharply tailored suits and statement gowns, the I AM VM Awards unfolded on Saturday, May 16 as a stylish celebration of excellence. Hosted by the charismatic duo Krystal Tomlinson Carter and Ryan Dixon, the evening blended heartfelt moments with high-energy celebration, honouring team members whose hard work and dedication shaped the company’s year.

But beyond the polished décor created by Gravitas Experience Ltd, and glamorous Renaissance-inspired style, the event carried a deeper emotional note. VM Group Group Chief Human Resources Officer Dr Dayton Robinson reminded attendees that the evening was about far more than trophies and titles.

“Tonight is not just about trophies, titles, or the glamorous outfits disguised as corporate necessity,” he said, drawing laughter from the audience. “Tonight is about celebrating the heart, resilience, and spirit of Team VM.”

Reflecting on a challenging year marked by Hurricane Melissa and unexpected setbacks, Robinson praised the team’s ability to rise above adversity with grace and determination. “These awards are not simply recognising performance — they recognise character. Because excellence is easy when life is comfortable, but true excellence is delivering under pressure,” he said.

And while inspiration filled the room, so did celebration. Guests laughed loudly, applauded proudly, and embraced the evening’s uplifting energy exactly as Robinson encouraged. The ceremony ended on a thrilling high note when dancehall heavyweight Agent Sasco delivered a surprise performance.
