St Mary Man Succumbs to Stab Wound: The St Mary police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man who arrived at the Port Maria Hospital with a stab wound on Wednesday night.
The deceased has been identified as 46-year-old Rajesh Keshoor Allen of Huddersfield, St Mary.
According to the police, about 9:12 p.m., Allen arrived at the hospital suffering from what appeared to be a stab wound to the chest.
Commanding Officer for the St Mary Police Division, Anthony Wallace, said Allen was immediately taken to the hospital’s Accident and Emergency Department, where he was treated by medical personnel.
Despite their efforts, he later succumbed to his injuries.
Investigators are continuing their probe into the incident and are appealing to anyone with information that may assist the investigation to contact the Port Maria Criminal Investigation Branch at 876-994-4222 or 876-333-9530, Crime Stop at 311, or the nearest police station.
