48-Hour Curfew Extended in St Andrew South Policing Division
The 48-hour curfew that was imposed in a section of the St Andrew South Policing Division, has been extended. The curfew will continue from 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, and will remain in effect until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 16.
The boundaries of the curfew are as follows:
East- From an imaginary line at Chisholm Avenue/Maxfield Avenue travelling southerly to East Avenue intersecting at Marcus Garvey Drive.
South- From Marcus Garvey Drive, vicinity East Avenue to Duhaney River.
West- From the Duhaney River to Kingston Harbour.
North- From Happy Grove community drawn to Chisholm Avenue/Maxfield Avenue intersection.
During the hours of the curfew, persons within the boundaries of the curfew are required to remain indoors unless otherwise authourised by the person in charge of enforcing the curfew.
