Burning Spear, Sizzla Kalonji to Headline Inaugural Montréal Reggae Nation Festival

Roots reggae legend Burning Spear, reggae icon Sizzla Kalonji, and several of Jamaica's biggest acts are set to headline the inaugural Montréal Reggae Nation Festival on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at the scenic Grand Quai du Port de Montréal.

The lineup also includes dancehall hitmaker Charly Black and veteran duo Tanto Metro & Devonte, with additional artistes expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

The festival marks a significant milestone for reggae fans across Québec and Eastern Canada, bringing together some of Jamaica's most celebrated performers for a landmark cultural event. With a career spanning more than five decades, Burning Spear remains one of reggae's most influential figures, earning worldwide acclaim for his timeless catalogue, conscious messages, electrifying live performances, and multiple Grammy Awards.
