
Court of Appeal overturns ruling of professional misconduct against Attorney-at-Law Isat Buchanan
The Court of Appeal today overturned a ruling of professional misconduct against Attorney-at-Law and Portland Eastern Member of Parliament Isat Buchanan in relation to an incident in 2020.
The initial ruling came from the Disciplinary Committee of the General Legal Council.
Speaking with IRIE FM News today Mr. Buchanan said the Court of Appeal ruled that there was a breach of natural justice, among other things.
He said the incident stemmed from a statement he made in relation to his former client entertainer Adijah ‘Vybz Kartel’ Palmer.
