FX Trader Cambio waives wire transfer fees to support Jamaican businesses

GraceKennedy Currency Trading Services Limited, also known as FX Trader Cambio, is waiving wire transfer fees for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) and commercial customers throughout June, as part of its commitment to supporting Jamaican businesses amid ongoing global economic challenges.
The limited-time offer, running from June 1 to June 30, 2026, applies to new and existing customers conducting wire transfers with a minimum value of US$10,000. Payments may be made in major currencies, including US dollars, Canadian dollars, Pounds Sterling, and Euros, allowing customers to save up to US$60 per transaction.
The initiative comes as businesses continue to navigate rising operating costs, shifting global trade conditions, supply chain pressures, and increased competition. For many SMEs, cross-border payments are critical for paying overseas suppliers and maintaining international business relationships.
Margaret Campbell, Chief Executive Officer of GraceKennedy Money Services, said the initiative reflects the Group’s continued focus on supporting customers and enabling economic activity.

“Through FX Trader Cambio, GraceKennedy remains committed to making cross-border payments more accessible and cost-effective for Jamaican businesses during this period of global uncertainty,” said Campbell. “By reducing transaction costs, we are helping businesses manage cash flow more efficiently and continue to operate and grow with confidence.”
The fee waiver was introduced in response to growing demand from commercial customers for more flexible and cost-efficient payment solutions, particularly among businesses that conduct high-value or recurring international transactions.
In addition to the fee waiver, FX Trader Cambio continues to offer competitive foreign exchange rates, creating further value for customers managing cross-border payments.
“As businesses navigate ongoing global uncertainty, they need financial partners who understand their challenges and can provide practical solutions,” said Romario Creary, head of FX Trader Cambio and Treasury. “By removing one of the costs associated with international payments, we are helping our customers remain competitive and pursue growth opportunities with greater confidence.”
The company noted that the initiative supports its broader strategy to deepen relationships with commercial customers and enhance the overall customer experience.
SME and commercial customers can contact FX Trader Cambio or visit any of their locations across the island to take advantage of the limited-time offer.
