The deceased has been named as Latoya Bulgin, widely called Buju, who lived at an address in Granville.

The Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) confirmed it is looking into the fatal shooting, which took place in Granville, St James.

Bulgin died in hospital while doctors were treating her injuries, according to reports reaching this desk.
