Petrojam lifts gasoline and diesel prices by $4.50 per litre from April 30

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Drivers islandwide will pay more at service stations from Thursday, April 30, after Petrojam published fresh ex-refinery prices that lift both grades of gasoline by $4.50 per litre.
Under the new schedule, 90-octane gasoline moves to $193.07 per litre and 87-octane settles at $185.63 per litre.
Diesel customers face the same $4.50 increase. Automotive diesel will leave the refinery at $193.25 per litre, while ultra-low sulphur diesel is priced at $200.09 per litre.
Kerosene also rises by $4.50, taking that fuel to $182.64 per litre.
Cooking gas feedstocks were not spared. Propane liquid petroleum moves up by $1.94 to $80.82 per litre, and butane liquid petroleum climbs $2.43 to $89.23 per litre.
The figures cover only what Petrojam charges as it leaves the refinery gate. Wholesale marketers and retail service stations will layer their own mark-ups on top before the fuels reach consumers.
