Woman shot dead by police in St. James

The Independent Commission of Investigations [INDECOM] is probing the fatal shooting of a woman by the police in Montego Bay, St James, Sunday afternoon.
The deceased, Latoya Bulgin, was shot, reportedly during an altercation with police personnel.
It's reported that Miss Bulgin and other members of the community of Granville were planning to march to downtown, Montego Bay to protest against the Mother's Day shooting death of a 17 year-old boy by the police, when the altercation occurred.
Radio Jamaica News spoke with MP for St. James West Central Marlene Malahoo Forte and she has urged Police Commissioner Dr Kevin Blake to take immediate action against the policeman involved in the incident.
