Claude 'Big Stone' Sinclair, beloved blogger and philanthropist, passes away

Tributes are pouring in for Claude 'Big Stone' Sinclair, the popular Jamaican blogger and philanthropist, whose death was announced on Tuesday morning.
Opposition Leader Mark Golding broke the news in a social media post, describing the YouTuber as a devoted advocate for the underserved.
"We mourn the passing of 'Big Stone', a true son of the community. He was a caring soul with a deep passion for justice, always standing up for the vulnerable and giving a voice to those too often ignored," Golding wrote.
The People's National Party leader went on to praise Sinclair's tireless work in highlighting matters that often escaped wider attention.
"Through his camera and his platform, he shone a light on issues many would overlook, never relenting in his pursuit of what was right. Big Stone had a powerful presence, the kind that brought people together and inspired action. His impact will live on in the lives he touched and the change he fought for," Golding said.
Sinclair had been living with stage four prostate cancer for an extended period. He had also undergone back surgery after sustaining injuries in a fall in 2024.
