Hanover councillors roll out rural road repair works across divisions

A number of Councillors across Hanover have begun rolling out a programme of works within their respective divisions, with attention concentrated on much-needed road repairs.

The initiative is centred largely on rural communities, where residents have welcomed the activity for two reasons: the chance of short-term employment and the longer-term benefit of upgraded infrastructure.

In several of the affected areas, both drivers and pedestrians had been calling on the authorities for a considerable period to address the deteriorating road conditions.
