Hanover Parish Council Places 100 Students in Summer Jobs to Ease Back-to-School Costs

Hanover

About 100 students from high schools and tertiary institutions across Hanover have been placed in summer jobs through an initiative organised by the Hanover Parish Council.

The young people have been assigned to a mix of government ministries and agencies, alongside private sector organisations operating throughout the parish.

Secretary Manager Judy McKenzie-Lawrence confirmed that the council is running the programme for a second consecutive year, noting that the placements are intended "primarily to assist them with back to school expenses."
