Hyundai Jamaica is bringing a premium lifestyle experience to Reggae Sumfest 2026, transforming one of the Caribbean’s largest music festivals into a launchpad for the brand’s next chapter in Jamaican lifestyle culture.

Following a strong presence at last year’s festival, Magna Motors Dealership Limited, the exclusive distributor of Hyundai vehicles in Jamaica, has announced plans for an expanded activation that will blend music, culture, lifestyle, sustainability, and automotive innovation at the Caribbean’s premier music festival.

The announcement was made during the recent official Reggae Sumfest 2026 Media Launch, where sponsors and partners unveiled plans for this year’s staging.

A central feature of the activation will be an immersive brand experience built around Hyundai’s flagship SUV. Festival patrons will have the opportunity to experience the all-new Hyundai Palisade within a lounge environment inspired by modern hospitality, entertainment, and contemporary lifestyle experiences.

For the 2026 staging, patrons can expect a pre-festival test-drive experience through Hyundai road trip giveaways, globally inspired photo installations at the activation site, and a sustainability showcase highlighting Hyundai’s hybrid direction.

Carla Hollingsworth, Marketing Manager at Hyundai Jamaica, said the company’s approach reflects changing consumer expectations and a desire to build more meaningful relationships with customers.

“Consumers today are looking for more than products. They are looking for experiences, community, and brands that connect with their lifestyles and aspirations. Reggae Sumfest provides a unique opportunity for us to engage Jamaicans through culture, entertainment, and shared experiences while showcasing the innovation and design that define Hyundai.”

She added, “This year, we are creating spaces where people can interact with the brand differently. We want patrons to experience Hyundai beyond the traditional showroom setting and engage with us through moments that reflect the energy, creativity, and lifestyle that define modern Jamaica.”

The Reggae Sumfest experience will begin long before patrons arrive at Plantation Cove, with Hyundai Jamaica preparing a series of consumer experiences and collaborations that will extend the excitement beyond the festival itself.

The expanded Reggae Sumfest presence follows a year of increased public engagement by Hyundai Jamaica, including community recovery initiatives following Hurricane Melissa, education support programmes for students preparing for national examinations, and consumer activations such as its recent Portmore Roadshow, where motorists were encouraged to explore fuel-efficient and hybrid vehicle options amid growing concerns about fuel costs.

As Hyundai Jamaica continues to broaden its presence beyond traditional automotive spaces, Reggae Sumfest 2026 represents another step in the brand’s effort to become part of the conversations, experiences, and communities that shape everyday Jamaican life.
