Kintyre Holdings chiefs bring Read Across Jamaica Day to Mona Preparatory pupils

Kintyre Holdings (JA) Limited marked this year’s Read Across Jamaica Day at Mona Preparatory School, where a senior leadership group headed by chief executive Mr Tyrone Wilson and deputy chief executive Mr Adrian Smith passed the morning swapping stories with children, guiding read-aloud slots, and talking learning inside classrooms.
Company figures describe that stop as another step in a long-running push around adolescent advancement, stronger reading habits, and steady outreach alongside ordinary citizens.
During the call, Kintyre staff moved through kindergarten and primary cohorts, lending their voices to printed tales in a bid to stoke enthusiasm for books and steady scholarship among the youngsters.
Alongside those sessions, pupils collected bundles of school supplies pitched as small morale lifts and practical help on the road through formal education; distributing the items, the organisation said it hoped to leave a constructive mark on learners and on conditions that support sound instruction.
Mr Tyrone Wilson shared: “Read Across Jamaica Day is a meaningful opportunity to inspire young minds and reinforce the importance of literacy and education. We are honoured to have spent time with the wonderful students and staff of Mona Preparatory School and to contribute in a small way to their academic development.”
The company expressed gratitude to the administration, teachers, and students of Mona Preparatory School for warmly welcoming the Kintyre Holdings team and allowing them to participate in the day’s activities.
Kintyre Holdings Limited remains committed to supporting educational and community-based initiatives that empower Jamaica’s youth and strengthen communities across the island.
