Police have yet to ascertain his identity.
A senior police source said the man’s body was found about 7:00 am in bushes by passers-by who alerted the police. Responding detectives observed the wound to the neck while processing the scene.
The body was removed to the morgue pending an autopsy to determine the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
