Christopher Reckord to make keynote address on AI at regional conference

Recognising the growing need to prepare the next generation of consultants to deliver innovative, technology-driven solutions, the Caribbean Institute of Management Consultants (CIMC) will observe International Consultants’ Day with its Annual Conference under the theme: “NextGen Frontiers: Architecting the Digital Tomorrow through AI Innovation.”

The high-impact virtual conference is scheduled for Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 9:00 am Jamaica/10:00 am AST/EDT to 1:00 pm Jamaica/2:00 pm AST/EDT and will bring together regional and international thought leaders to explore the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in business, governance, and consulting.

Delivering the keynote address will be Christopher Reckord, Chairman of Jamaica’s National AI Task Force and Vice Chairman of the Caribbean Telecommunications Union (CTU) Caribbean AI Task Force.

A recognised leader in digital transformation, AI strategy, and public-private innovation across the Caribbean, Reckord currently serves the Government of Jamaica in several national leadership roles, including Deputy Chairman of the ICT Authority and the National Identification & Registration Authority (NIRA). He is also Chairman of the National Artificial Intelligence Task Force, Deputy Chairman of the Caribbean AI Task Force, Commissioner on the Betting, Gaming & Lotteries Commission, and a member of the Gastronomy Network under the Ministry of Tourism.

Christopher Reckord is also co-author of the recently published book, Successful Digital Transformation – Your World, Your Business, Your Life… Reimagined.
