JPS says power back for all customers after all-island blackout
Jamaica Public Service says electricity supply has been returned to every customer who lost power during the all-island outage.
In a statement issued Saturday, the utility said the final group of affected customers was reconnected at 6:30 a.m.
JPS said its Incident Command System is still in operation while technical teams watch the electricity network for stability and examine what triggered the disruption. The company added that crews are also dealing with a few smaller outages that are separate from the islandwide blackout.
