JSE Restores Atlantic Hardware Trading After Company Misses 2025 Audit Deadline
Atlantic Hardware & Plumbing Company Limited has promised to release future financial reports on schedule, following the Jamaica Stock Exchange's decision this morning to end the trading suspension on its junior-market shares.
The halt took effect on July 1 after the company did not file audited statements for the year that ended on December 31, 2025. That report was originally due by March 31, 2026.
In an interview with IRIE FM News, Managing Director Deanall Barnes said the company is sorry for the breach. He attributed the lag to Atlantic Hardware's move from a local audit firm to one of the global Big Four accounting practices, a transition he said required extensive accounting work. Barnes added that such a delay would not occur again.
