JUTC to Run Reggae Sumfest 2026 Shuttle Service to Richmond Estate

St. Ann

The Jamaica Urban Transit Company has been named the lead transport partner for Reggae Sumfest 2026, with special bus service planned for festivalgoers heading to Richmond Estate in St Ann.

In a release issued Wednesday, the State-owned bus operator said it will provide dedicated travel arrangements for patrons going to and leaving the event.

JUTC marketing and sales manager Nathalia Palomino said the arrangement shows the company’s support for safe, dependable and convenient movement, while backing one of Jamaica’s major cultural showcases.

She said the company intends to operate organised return trips from selected points across Jamaica, a move aimed at easing the journey for patrons, cutting down on congestion and reducing parking pressure at the venue.

“At JUTC, we are always seeking opportunities to connect Jamaicans with the experiences they love in a safe and convenient way. Our partnership with Reggae Sumfest 2026 allows patrons to focus on enjoying the music and festivities while leaving the transportation logistics to us,” Palomino said.

She added that the company was “excited to play our part in making this year’s festival experience even more memorable”.

Palomino also said patrons will be able to purchase transport packages on the GK1 App, giving them a way to reserve seats ahead of the festival instead of waiting until close to travel time.

According to her, the digital booking option is designed to make planning easier for customers and support a smoother boarding process when buses depart.

JUTC said the first 200 people who reserve seats will get J$1,000 off their transport package for Reggae Sumfest 2026.
