JUTC to run Reggae Sumfest 2026 shuttle buses to St Ann

St. Ann

The Jamaica Urban Transit Company has disclosed that it will work with Reggae Sumfest 2026 to handle transport services for the festival, moving patrons to and from Richmond Estate in St Ann. The arrangement, announced yesterday, will see JUTC providing dedicated travel options for persons attending the event.

According to the company, the move forms part of its push to deliver safer, dependable and easier transport while backing one of Jamaica’s major cultural showcases. JUTC said organised return trips from several points across the country should help patrons get to the show with less hassle, while also easing traffic build-up and reducing parking pressure at the venue.

Nathalia Palomino, JUTC’s marketing and sales manager, welcomed the partnership and said it fits the company’s goal of improving customer service through fresh collaborations. “At JUTC, we are always seeking opportunities to connect Jamaicans with the experiences they love in a safe and convenient way. Our partnership with Reggae Sumfest 2026 allows patrons to focus on enjoying the music and festivities while leaving the transportation logistics to us. We are excited to play our part in making this year’s festival experience even more memorable,” said Palomino.

Patrons will be able to purchase their transport packages on the GK1 App, giving them a chance to reserve seats ahead of the festival instead of leaving travel plans until the last minute. JUTC said the digital booking option is intended to make planning easier and to support a smoother boarding process on the travel day.

The first 200 people who reserve seats will get $1,000 off their transport package. Fares are priced between $4,000 and $5,000 per person, with pick-ups scheduled for Half-Way Tree Transport Centre and Ward Theatre in downtown Kingston in the Corporate Area; Portmore Mall and the Spanish Town Lay-by in St Catherine; Nashville Bus Park in Mandeville, Manchester; and Harbour City Mall in Montego Bay, St James.
