Police have named 33-year-old Kadian Bradshaw as the woman who was allegedly killed by her husband in Hanover. Bradshaw, a United States resident, had moved to Jamaica with him in October 2025.
The husband, who is a naturalised United States citizen, is still being held by investigators. The fatal incident happened late Sunday night at an apartment the couple had rented in Esher, Hanover.
Both Bradshaw and her spouse were born in Jamaica and had previously lived in the United States. They were originally from St Catherine and Kingston, respectively, before settling in Hanover with their baby.
Residents reported that the pair had been quarrelling before the deadly attack. Police have not yet established a motive and say the probe is ongoing.
The matter was reported shortly after 2 a.m. Monday, when residents allegedly saw the man on a road carrying the infant. They contacted the police, who later found Bradshaw's body. The child was not injured.
