Kasheem Green leaves Jamaica for Mister Supranational finals in Poland

Jamaica’s Mister Supranational titleholder, Kasheem Green, is eager to reach Poland and take his place among the international field. The 29-year-old, who lives in Papine, left the country on Monday through Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, St James.

Speaking with the Jamaica Observer just before boarding the opening segment of his journey, which routes him through Panama, Green said: “It’s my first time travelling and I can’t wait to get there. I can’t wait to see the beautiful country of Poland, and I can’t want to meet my brothers from the 43 other countries who will be competing for the Mr Supranational title.”

He also reflected on what the experience means for him: “This competition is something that I will always have to tell my kids about, to tell my grand kids about. This journey has been such an inspiring journey. And I just want to say thanks to all the sponsors who made this possible; everybody who has contributed to this journey thus far, and I’m going to make everybody proud.”

In June last year, Green claimed the Mr Supranational Jamaica 2026 crown, beating five other contenders at Talk of the Town inside the Jamaica Pegasus hotel.

Looking back on how he arrived at that win, he recalled: “When I entered this competition, I entered blindly. I really didn’t know what I was doing. But along the journey I found myself and I fell in love with the higher version of myself. I realised what I could’ve been and what I can be, and I just embraced that version of myself. And that was what led me to become Mr Supranational Jamaica 2026.”

The 2026 Mister Supranational grand finale is set for August 1 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz.
