Khadija “Bunny” Shaw has not ruled out extending her time at Manchester City, even as questions continue around the Reggae Girlz striker’s next move after a standout Women’s Super League season.

Shaw, recently named Women’s Super League Player of the Season, said her attention remains on what she can affect directly: her work on the pitch. She said her performances speak for themselves, adding that the decision on whether she remains at Manchester City or moves elsewhere will depend on discussions involving her representatives and the club.

Asked whether she would want to continue with City, Shaw said Manchester has become home to her and noted that the club made her feel welcome from the start. She said City are now moving towards their aims, including winning trophies, but added that any decision on her future would come after the season, with a major final still ahead.

In Jamaica Premier League action, defending champions Cavalier defeated Montego Bay United 2-0 in the second semi-final to reach a third straight JPL final. Cavalier advanced 2-1 on aggregate.

Eighteen-year-old Kemar Roofe Scott delivered both goals for Rudolph Speid’s team. He brought the tie level on aggregate in the 54th minute with a glancing header, then struck again in extra time with another header to send Cavalier into Sunday’s final.
