Kibaki Riding Wave of Praise for New Money Single

Dancehall act Kibaki is basking in strong feedback for his latest offering, New Money, a Sophia B Records production that hit streaming platforms on April 6.
"They [listeners] love the track. They have said I have found my breakout hit with this one, especially because of how relatable it is," said the artiste, whose birth name is Kibaki Halloway.
A product of Grant's Pen in St Andrew, Kibaki has previously put out Jah Children Beware, Jah Jah Neva Fail I, Buss My Own, and Get Wet. He attributes his upward trajectory to a wide creative range.
"My voice and my writing skills make me stand out in the industry. I have a lot of range that has worked in my favour," he said.
Asked about dream studio partners, the deejay pointed to the self-styled King of Dancehall, citing what he sees as a shared creative approach.
"I mean, most of the artistes are very talented [and] top class. But, overall, doing collaboration with Vybz Kartel would be different. [The] reason being he's way ahead of his time, and I'm just the same… Great minds think alike," Kibaki said.
The entertainer revealed that an official music video for another track, Nazzle Bun Off, is on the way, alongside additional projects slated for release soon.
Kibaki also took time to acknowledge the listeners who have stuck with him along the way.
"Thanks for not quitting on me. Thanks for the support throughout my journey. You, the supporters, are the fuel that keep this machine moving. Heart a love. Stay up," he said.
