St. Ann Farmer Found Dead After Ocho Rios Bay Beach Swim

A St. Ann farmer is thought to have lost his life by drowning at Ocho Rios Bay Beach on Saturday.
The deceased has been named as 50-year-old Orville Brown, also known as "Mona", of Golden Grove in the parish.
Reports indicate that sometime between 2:45 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Brown entered the sea with several other men and they began swimming.
Around 4:30 p.m., most of the men came back ashore. It was later noticed that Brown had not returned with them.
The men searched the area but were unable to find him, and the Jamaica Defence Force Coast Guard was alerted.
Brown's body was found at about 7:30 a.m. Sunday.
