Kiprich and Kizzy Don Confirm Engagement After Candlelit Rose Proposal
Dancehall deejay Kiprich has proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Kizzy Don, during an intimate evening lit by candles and dressed with red roses. Don accepted, bringing the pair into a new chapter of their relationship.
The entertainer posted glimpses of the occasion to his Instagram Stories on Tuesday, along with congratulatory messages from friends and media outlets that followed the announcement. One repost from IRIE FM carried the headline: "SHE SAID YES! KIPRICH AND KIZZY ARE OFFICIALLY ENGAGED!"
Photos and videos circulating online showed the couple on a walkway covered in rose petals, lined with candles and set against a large floral backdrop. Kiprich stood beside his fiancée as they marked the milestone together.
In one clip, Don held up a sparkling diamond engagement ring while clutching what appeared to be the familiar red Cartier ring box. She captioned that post: "Ty bby ily," and tagged the dancehall artiste.
Another video showed the newly engaged pair smiling as Kiprich stood behind Don, who held a bouquet of pink roses and looked down at her ring. That upload carried the caption: "I said yes omg."
Well-wishes flooded social media from fans and members of the entertainment fraternity, with many sending the couple goodwill as they prepare for marriage.
Kiprich, whose recordings include Telephone Ting, The Letter and Talk, has not publicly outlined any wedding plans. Given how carefully the proposal was staged, supporters say they already expect a major celebration when the couple takes the next step.
