Kirkland Moses earns Save by Grace place on Jamaica Gospel Star 2026

Kirkland Moses has been named the Save by Grace finalist on Jamaica Gospel Star 2026, securing a place with the competition’s top five after Episode 3 on July 19, 2026.

Judges chose Moses from five singers competing for a single second-chance berth. This week’s Save by Grace performers were Cade Bell Navis, Kirkland Moses and Siobhan, considered alongside two contenders held over from the previous show, Minister Mel and Jason Joel.

The top five already through are Shantel Smalling Stevenson, Serena Bolton, Shelu Miller, Deandra and Dana Craig.

After the result was announced, Moses said, "God is good. I feel so elated." Judges said they selected him because his work had strengthened across his last two appearances and because he delivered a full-out performance on the night.

In remarks before his set, Moses said leaving the contest at this stage would be bittersweet but would not end his ministry, adding that rehearsals had taught him how much he still had to learn. He urged other gospel artists to keep sharing the message through music.

Cade Bell Navis described the run as nerve-wracking yet enjoyable and thanked viewers for their votes, saying the main lesson was to face fear, keep growing and trust God through hard seasons. Siobhan said she believed her time on the show was in God’s will, even if that season was ending, and pledged that Jamaica would hear from her again. She said her takeaway was to give her best, apply coaching tips and work on weak areas.

The Jamaica Gospel Star 2026 champion will receive $1 million in cash, the title, and a larger platform for ministry. The show also noted that its top four finalists are due to perform at the Come Alive concert on Emancipation Day.
