PORTMORE, St Catherine : Portmore Home Invasion — Detectives from the Major Crime Investigation Division (MCID) are probing a deadly gun attack that claimed the lives of two young men and left a woman injured in Naggo Head, Portmore, early Sunday morning.
The deceased have been identified as 19-year-old delivery man Michael Elliot, otherwise known as “Bobbly Slammer” or “Bull,” of Clifton District, St Catherine, and 17-year-old Kenrick Ebanks, also called “Wealthy Stunts,” of Naggo Head.
According to police reports, about 4:30 a.m., Elliot and Ebanks were at a house along White Lane when armed men carrying high-powered rifles reportedly forced their way into the dwelling.
Investigators say the attackers opened fire on both men, who were in separate sections of the house, hitting them in the head and upper body.
The gunmen then moved to another section of the premises, where a 27-year-old woman was also shot in her upper body.
All three victims were rushed to the Spanish Town Hospital. Elliot and Ebanks were pronounced dead on arrival, while the woman was admitted for treatment.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident and are appealing to anyone with information that may assist their probe to contact the authorities.
