The JSE Index advanced by 692 points on Friday, while the Junior Market dvanced by 33 points.
Overall market activity resulted from trading in 103 stocks, of which 38 advanced, 43 declined, and 22 traded firm.
Kintyre Holdings was the volume leader with 87 per cent of a total volume.
