Moliy’s “Shake It to the Max” remix surges across Jamaica with Skillibeng and Shenseea

Ghanaian-American artiste Moliy is enjoying a major breakout with “Shake It to the Max,” a single that has spread widely online and across Jamaican radio. The remix includes Jamaican dancehall acts Skillibeng and Shenseea, and YouTube figures show it was Jamaica’s most-streamed song over the last month.

The official audio, uploaded three months ago, has drawn 8.7 million views. Moliy visited Jamaica earlier this month to film the remix video, which pulled in nearly 500,000 views in just over 48 hours after release and now sits at number six on Jamaica’s trending songs list.

In the past 28 days, the audio has added close to one million views. With roughly 60,000 YouTube subscribers, the song has become Moliy’s biggest release so far, moving beyond earlier tracks that reached about 150,000 views, including some posted four years ago.
