Dr Sandra Colly-Durand has been named a recipient of the Governor-General's Achievement Awards – Diaspora 2026, earning praise from Earl Jarrett for her work in advancing Jamaica's national development.

She was one of seven distinguished awardees drawn from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and China. The presentations took place on June 15 at the Montego Bay Convention Centre.
