JCF outlines temporary road plan for Reggae Sumfest weekend in St Ann

1 min readSt. Ann

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists and festivalgoers headed to the 2026 Reggae Sumfest at Plantation Cove, St Ann, on Saturday, July 18, should plan for temporary road adjustments, the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) has said.

With large crowds expected, the force will put short-term traffic controls in place so cars and people can move safely and with less buildup near the grounds.

Parking and shuttle arrangements will operate for the event. The JCF said directional signs will go up on the north coast toll route and on main roads through St Ann’s Bay, Discovery Bay, and Ocho Rios to point patrons toward each parking area.

Officers will also be stationed along the approaches. The public has been told to comply with their directions while the measures remain in force.
