Lady Camille marks 46 with surprise visit from brother Danny Links
Midway through the cake ceremony, as guests prepared to sing for Lady Camille, her brother Danny Links pushed through the gathering. He had travelled from Dallas, Texas, in the United States, to Richmond Park, St Andrew, for the unannounced appearance that became the evening’s biggest moment.
Cake cutting paused as he reached her side and the room erupted in shouts and shock. Lady Camille later told THE WEEKEND STAR: “This is one of the best birthdays for me.” She added: “Imagine, my brother, travelled all the way from Dallas, Texas, in America, flew all the way to Jamaica to be a part of my birthday celebration. Words alone can’t express what this means to me.”
The celebration carried the Chapter 46 theme. Lady Camille arrived in striking designer wear, smiling throughout the venue and looking youthful and radiant. Relatives and friends crowded around her with hugs and raised glasses, toasting 46 years marked by elegance, determination and lasting cheer.
On the turntables, DJ Javvy and Franki of Team Toucha Blue joined guest selectors. They spun classic old-school favourites alongside current hits that filled the dancefloor, then shifted into a soulful acoustic stretch that closed the night strongly. Photographer Anthony Minott recorded the gathering’s standout scenes.
