
St Andrew Central police seize 43 ammunition rounds in security operation
Police in St Andrew Central say 43 rounds of ammunition were recovered Saturday morning during a coordinated security sweep in the division.
According to the police, the intelligence-driven exercise involved police and military members and ran from 3:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., with several premises searched.
Investigators said the haul comprised 37 9mm rounds, three .45 rounds, two 5.56 rounds and one .38 round. Two people were taken into custody in relation to the find, but police have not released their names while the probe continues.
