Lizzo says she will contest harassment lawsuit and return focus to music

Lizzo has spoken publicly about the harassment case she is facing, telling NBC's Today show she is “not afraid to fight” the accusations.
The pop artiste said parts of the lawsuit, among them allegations linked to body-shaming, have already been thrown out, adding that those claims had “no merit in court.”
She said settling was an option available to her, but she decided instead to let the matter proceed through the courts so the truth can be established. Lizzo, who recently put out an album, said her priority now is returning attention to her music and moving forward.
