Lucea United hold Group D lead after JFF Tier Two draw as qualifiers shift across groups
Lucea United remain at the top of Group D in the Jamaica Football Federation Tier Two qualifiers after sharing a three-all draw with Faulkland on Wednesday.
The result left Lucea United on seven points in the standings. Faulkland stayed on four points but slipped from second place after Cooper's Pen defeated Russia 3-1 at the Landillo Sports Complex to take over the runner-up spot in the group.
In Group A, Cedar Grove Estate of St. Catherine beat Brown's Town of Kingston 2-1. Cedar Grove Estate are the only side in that group to record a victory so far and sit on four points. York United hold second place with two points.
Group B has been reduced to two competing teams after Portlanders withdrew from the competition. The club failed to appear for their scheduled fixture against King's Football Academy at Drax Hall.
At the top of Group C, Mile Gully were leading Cross United 2-1 when that match was aborted.
Wednesday's outcomes across the groups brought further movement in the JFF Tier Two qualifying race, with leaders holding or extending their positions in some sections while withdrawals and an unfinished game reshaped the picture elsewhere.
