Magnum Tonic Wine taps Boom Boom as brand ambassador at Sumfest event
Dancehall selector and longtime advocate Marlon “Boom Boom” Wizzard is now an official Magnum Tonic Wine Brand Ambassador, marking recognition of his lasting impact on Jamaica’s dancehall scene.
The news broke at Magnum Taste Of Sumfest 2026 at Plantation Cove in St. Ann. Organisers saluted him there as a genuine ‘Champion of Dancehall’ and a cultural icon.
During the homage, he received a premium, one-off collectible jacket from Tribe Nine Studios. The custom piece marks more than three decades of work sustaining, pushing, and lifting Jamaican music, alongside street dance and sound-system traditions.
Magnum Brand Manager Brandon Wallace said the appointment reflects Magnum’s ongoing backing of figures who have helped keep dancehall thriving at home and abroad.
